Providing clean water for displaced people Project
Providing clean water for displaced people
On September 3, 2025, the organization AID FOR GAZA implemented a humanitarian initiative to provide safe drinking water to displaced families in the Al‑Zawaida area in central Gaza Strip.
At that time, Al-Zawaida had become a refuge for many displacement camps where thousands of families had fled seeking safety. However, the area lacked basic services and essential infrastructure, leaving displaced people without reliable access to clean water and other necessities for daily survival.
Recognizing the urgent need, AID FOR GAZA worked to supply potable water to families living in these camps, helping them meet one of the most critical needs for health and survival. Access to clean drinking water is essential, especially in overcrowded displacement settings where the absence of services increases the risk of dehydration and water-borne diseases.
Through this initiative, the organization sought to ease the suffering of displaced families and support their dignity during extremely difficult circumstances, reaffirming the importance of humanitarian solidarity and the commitment to stand alongside the most vulnerable communities in the Gaza Strip. 💧🤍
