On October 8, 2025, SOS, in partnership with AID FOR GAZA, carried out a humanitarian campaign to distribute food to families displaced by the war in the Gaza Strip.

The initiative came at a time when famine was severely affecting displaced families, as thousands of people continued to suffer from extreme shortages of food, water, and basic necessities after months of war, displacement, and economic collapse.

Displaced families are living in tragic humanitarian conditions inside overcrowded shelters and temporary tents, while children and the elderly remain among the most vulnerable to hunger and malnutrition.

The campaign aimed to provide urgent food assistance and help ease part of the suffering experienced by families exhausted by war and ongoing hardship. It also carried a message of solidarity and humanitarian support for civilians facing one of the harshest humanitarian crises in Gaza.

Humanitarian organizations and volunteers continue their efforts to deliver food and relief assistance to displaced families despite the enormous challenges and the worsening humanitarian situation across the Gaza Strip.
