Amid Famine and the Lack of Resources, Food Aid for Families Displaced from Northern Gaza
Amid Famine and the Lack of Resources… Food Aid for Families Displaced from Northern Gaza
On October 5, 2025, SOS, in partnership with AID FOR GAZA, carried out a humanitarian campaign to distribute food to families displaced from northern Gaza to the southern areas of the Gaza Strip after the war forced them to flee their homes and live under extremely harsh humanitarian conditions.
This initiative came during one of the most severe periods of famine experienced by displaced people in Gaza, where families continue to suffer from critical shortages of food, water, and basic necessities, alongside the dramatic deterioration of living and economic conditions.
Displaced families are living in shelters and temporary tents under tragic circumstances, with extremely limited financial resources and great difficulty accessing daily essential needs. Children and the elderly continue to face the constant threat of hunger and malnutrition.
The campaign helped ease the suffering of hundreds of families by providing urgent food meals to displaced people exhausted by war and prolonged displacement. It also carried a message of humanitarian solidarity, emphasizing the importance of supporting affected civilians amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Humanitarian organizations and volunteers continue their efforts to deliver food and relief assistance to the families most in need despite the enormous challenges and difficult conditions across Gaza.
