On November 8, 2025, SOS, in partnership with AID FOR GAZA, carried out a humanitarian campaign to distribute food meals to displaced families in northern Gaza, specifically in the western area of Jabalia Camp, one of the most devastated and destroyed areas affected by the ongoing war.

The area is suffering from catastrophic conditions in every sense of the word. Neighborhoods, homes, and infrastructure have been almost completely destroyed, leaving virtually no signs of normal life. Residents and displaced families are enduring the absence of clean water, food, and medicine while living under extremely harsh humanitarian conditions and severe shortages of the most basic necessities for survival.

Displaced families are living among the rubble and inside damaged shelters, while children, elderly people, and the sick face daily suffering caused by hunger, thirst, cold weather, and the collapse of healthcare services. Many families are no longer able to secure even a single daily meal due to the ongoing siege and the difficulty of delivering humanitarian aid into the area.

This campaign aimed to ease part of the suffering of displaced civilians by providing urgent food meals to families exhausted by war, hunger, and displacement. It also carried a message of humanitarian solidarity, reminding the world that despite the destruction and hardship, the people of Gaza continue to hold on to hope and life.

Humanitarian organizations and volunteers continue their efforts to deliver food and relief assistance to devastated areas and the families most in need despite the enormous risks and the unprecedented humanitarian conditions across northern Gaza.
