On October 26, 2025, the people of the city of MELILLA, in partnership with AID FOR GAZA, carried out a humanitarian campaign to distribute food to families displaced from northern Gaza to the southern areas of the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing war.

This initiative came amid extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, as thousands of displaced families continue to live in overcrowded shelters and temporary tents while suffering from severe shortages of food, clean water, and basic necessities.

The campaign aimed to provide urgent food assistance to families exhausted by months of war, displacement, and economic hardship. Many displaced civilians, especially children and the elderly, continue to face hunger and harsh living conditions as the humanitarian crisis deepens across Gaza.

Through this initiative, the people of MELILLA expressed their solidarity with the displaced families of Gaza and reaffirmed the importance of humanitarian support during one of the most difficult periods faced by civilians in the region.

AID FOR GAZA and its humanitarian partners continue their efforts to deliver food and relief assistance to vulnerable families despite the enormous challenges and ongoing humanitarian crisis.
