On November 23, 2025, the people of the city of MELILLA, in partnership with AID FOR GAZA, carried out a humanitarian campaign to distribute food to families displaced by the war from northern Gaza to the Al-Zawaida area in the central Gaza Strip.

This initiative came as thousands of displaced families continue to endure extremely difficult humanitarian conditions after being forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict. Many families are living in overcrowded shelters and temporary tents while facing severe shortages of food, clean water, medicine, and basic necessities.

The campaign aimed to provide urgent food assistance to displaced civilians suffering from hunger, exhaustion, and the harsh realities of prolonged displacement. Children, elderly people, and vulnerable families remain among the most affected by the worsening humanitarian crisis across Gaza.

Through this initiative, the people of MELILLA expressed their solidarity with Gaza’s displaced families and reaffirmed the importance of humanitarian support during one of the most difficult periods faced by civilians in the region.

AID FOR GAZA and its humanitarian partners continue their efforts to deliver relief assistance and stand beside affected families despite the enormous humanitarian challenges caused by the ongoing war.
