Each Gesture Makes a Difference Project
Amid the severe humanitarian crisis and famine that affected the Gaza Strip due to the continued closure of border crossings and the severe restriction on the entry of humanitarian aid, the organization AID FOR GAZA carried out a humanitarian initiative on August 17, 2025 under the title “Each Gesture Makes a Difference.”
The initiative consisted of distributing pastry meals to patients and the injured at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (also known as the Gaza Baptist Hospital) in eastern Gaza City, as well as to patients at the Gaza Eye Hospital in northern Gaza. In addition, pastry meals were distributed to displaced families living in camps in northern Gaza who were facing extremely difficult living conditions.
This initiative came as an urgent response to the widespread hunger experienced by patients, the wounded, and displaced civilians during a time when food shortages had reached critical levels. With hospitals overwhelmed and displacement camps filled with families who had lost their homes, even a simple meal could provide a moment of relief and a sense of care and solidarity.
Through this humanitarian effort, the team aimed to provide basic nourishment to those suffering from illness, injuries, and physical exhaustion, helping them regain some strength during their journey of treatment and recovery, especially during a time of famine that weighed heavily on the population.
The initiative “Each Gesture Makes a Difference” reflects the commitment of AID FOR GAZA to stand beside the most vulnerable during times of crisis, doing everything possible with the available resources to ease suffering and support the dignity of the people of the Gaza Strip
